AKA Logistics is fully geared to take the responsibility of eliminating en-route transit losses ensuring 100% delivery of the booked quantity to power utility.
The Company is undertaking the whole gamut of activity aimed at preventing transit losses by arranging en-route vigilance on rakes movement, witnessing proper weighment both at loading and unloading ends, identifying the theft prone areas en-route to the destination, deploying armed guard at vulnerable locations, monitoring diversion of rakes en-route, monitoring detention of rakes en-route, monitoring stabling of rakes/wagons enroute, monitoring sick marking of wagon enroute and other allied issues aimed at eliminating transit losses.
There is no denying the truth that moving, and not only producing coal is going to be the key to the success of industrial development in India. As per the current provisions the Railways is completely absolved of any responsibility of ensuring 100% delivery of the booked quantity. Under the circumstances there is no alternative to logistics agent taking upon itself this work.
AKA Logistics has a Pan India presence and is strategically located in various activity centers with knowledge of railway network and coal mines. Within a short span
of time, the Logistics

handling more than
1000 rakes a month.
The primary goal of the logistics division of AKA Logistics centers around:
- Supervision and loading of Coal rakes
- Achieving desired linkage materialization, through timely allocation of rakes
- Minimizing transit losses
- Avoiding POL and idle freight
- Ensuring prescribed quality coal is delivered and free from Boulders, Stones, Mucks etc.
- Witnessing weighment at loading & unloading points.
- Managing documentation, IT & MIS systems
